Joan is on a mission…a mission to keep children safe. Six months after having breast cancer, Joan went to Eagle Butte, South Dakota to work on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. There, she helped build a privacy fence so that area children can play outdoors in a safe environment.

Take a look at the following video to find out why Joan says that breast cancer is just a beginning… and not an end. Joan says her assistance with building a fence is helping to build relationships with a community full of children in need.
